Whether or not I will list a site in the links section depends on the answer to two questions:

- Is your site specifically relevent to residents of Spruce Pine?
- Does the site match the family friendly ideals of this site?

If both of these are "yes" then I would be happy (usually) to post the site here. 

Assuming you are in Spruce Pine, and in good taste, there are two ways to submit your link:

- (preferred) Use the "Submit URL" button from the main menu.  It is easy and will allow you to phrase your link anyway you want (although I may edit afterwards).  If you are a registered user, you can also come back and edit the link later.  If you aren't a registered user, you can still submit the new link, but you can't edit it later.

- Use the "Contact Us" button on the main menu to send me a message telling me the URL and a description of the site.

All submissions will be reviewed by me before they will appear on the site, regardless of submission method.

Note the phrase "specifically relevent" to Spruce Pine.  National website sales (unless you have a physical office in Spruce Pine), etc, need not apply and will be summarily ignored.  I don't want to make a big deal out of this... you know if you are in Spruce Pine or not, and so do I.  So don't waste my time if you aren't, ok? 

I know, that sounds harsh.  But seriously I get 10 or so emails PER DAY asking for links to sites in Charlotte, Raleigh, Asheville, and even foreign countries like the UK, Russia, and California (yes, that was a joke).  In the past I have sent back polite messages to these people, which turns into a long discussion over email about why their site isn't included (even though they know quite well why).  No more.  I just ignore them completely.  Trust me, if you are a real Spruce Pine site, I'd love to have you on here.

Offensive, pornographic, or other sites generally in bad taste (as judged by me) will not be considered nor will explanations or responses be given.  This rule applies regardless of location of the site.
