The Toe River Arts Council (TRAC) is a non-profit organization founded in 1976 to promote the arts in Mitchell and Yancey Counties. It is governed by a bi-county board and has offices in Burnsville above the library on the Town Square and an arts facility (The TRAC Center) in Spruce Pine.
