The Mitchell County Chamber of Commerce will host a forum for candidates for municipal office in Bakersville and Spruce Pine. The forum is scheduled for Thursday, October 25 at 6:30 P.M. in the Mitchell High School auditorium in Ledger. Candidates in the Bakersville Town Council and the Spruce Pine Town Council and Mayoral races have been invited to participate.
