A collection of30 regional clay artists, including Cynthia Bringle, Jane Peiser, Norman Schulman and Tom Turner, will be showing and selling their work at the The 2nd Annual Spruce Pine Potters Market show and sale on October 13 and 14th at Cross street building in Spruce Pine, NC. This event will be a unique gathering of our region’s greatest potters on a colorful autumn weekend.
A spectacular range of pottery, sculpture and architectural ceramics will be displayed by artists Melisa Cadell, Allison & Alan White, Sarah House, Gay Smith, Claudia Dunaway, Tom Turner, Terry Gess, Ken Sedberry, Shawn Ireland, Mark Peters, Jane Peiser, Will Baker, David Ross, Stan Andersen, Shane Mickey, Norm Schulman, Ron Slagle, Jenny Lou Sherburne, Matt Kelleher & Shoko Teruyama, LeAnne Ash, Michael Hunt & Naomi Dalglish, Mike Henshaw, Courtney Martin, Becky Gray, Mark Tomzak, Linda McFarling, Jon Ellenbogen & Becky Plummer, Michael Kline, Cynthia Bringle, Pam Brewer, and Ron Knight.
Cross Street Building in Spruce Pine, located just off Summit Street, across the street from Pinebridge Center, is a vintage textile mill recently converted into a spacious multi-use facility. Food and refreshments, artist demonstrations, as well as the assembled potters and their beautiful wares will provide a distinctive venue for pottery collectors. The downtown Spruce Pine Heritage Festival on Saturday, as well as peak leaf color make October 13th and 14th the weekend to be in the mountains!
